Digital Institute 2009

Spitz invites you to join us for the 2009 Digital Institute. This year we will offer an even broader spectrum of subjects and interests for planetarium educators. Courses cover a range of digital planetarium topics, from basic techniques to advanced lesson creation using Starry Night and Spitz production software. We’ll explore diverse options for teaching, and provide many opportunities for planetarians to share their presentations and lessons.

Presenters from Simulation Curriculum / Starry Night, Space Telescope Science Institute and area planetariums are scheduled. The agenda will include: Starry Night Software basics; using Starry Night Dome; sample lessons and presentations; digital multimedia (Photoshop, audio editing, creating panoramas); finding and using on-line resources, and much more.
