XD goes beyond HD resolution to provide extreme sharpness and image clarity. The two-projector XD system displays 2560 x 2560 pixels with perfect edge-blending, giving you a uniform display with no errors at the image overlap. SciDome XD is available for domes up to 50-feet (13,000 lumens).

While SciDome XD delivers ultra-high resolution fulldome projection, you still get unmatched educational resources, and the ease use you expect from SciDome. Like SciDome HD, XD includes Auto Warp - a fisheye camera and software combination that calibrates the system automatically. The system photographs reference patterns on your dome, then creates a pixel-perfect 'warp mesh' that exactly matches the imagery at the edge-blend transition. The result is completely seamless projection, with no geometry errors or double images.
