SciDome Standard

Amazingly powerful for its small size and price, Spitz' standard single-projector Scidome is the choice of educational planetariums worldwide. The single lens design insures SciDome is easy to use and maintain.

SciDome projects 1600 x 1600 pixels for sharp, colorful, high definition graphics. Our standard fulldome system offers 8,000:1 contrast ratio and up to 6500 lumens for bright, colorful imagery. The system uses a single high resolution DLP projector and fisheye lens for uniform projection, with the lowest possible maintenance in a SciDome system.

Like the SciDome HD, the standard SciDome is a turnkey fulldome system, including projection system, control desk, software (realtime astronomy simulation, automation and fulldome show playback) computers, installation and training.

The standard SciDome is available for dome theaters up to 40-feet in diameter.
