SciDome HD

For planetarium educators who require high resolution display in a low-maintenance system, Spitz offers SciDome HD, powered by Starry Night. The new HD system displays 3 million pixels – over three times the resolution of the standard SciDome. Like the original SciDome, the HD includes complete curriculum support and teacher resources.

The two-projector SciDome HD delivers bright, high definition imagery, with no projector alignment needed. Our unique auto-warp feature registers the images accurately onto the dome. Unlike other systems requiring precise mechanical multi-projector alignment, SciDome HD auto-aligns at the push of a button.

The SciDome HD system includes:
