SciDome is recommended for planetariums with dome diameters up to 45 feet (13.5 meters). The standard brightness SciDome is appropriate for domes up to 30 feet (9.1 meters). For domes up to 45 feet, Spitz’ high brightness SciDome is available.

A library of fulldome shows is available from Spitz. SciDome’s single-projector format allows easy access to programs created by other fulldome show producers.

SciDome includes a library of astronomical, educational and special-effects imagery properly formatted for fulldome display. Most clips are 30-40 seconds long and suitable for use in Sky Tonight shows, lessons, or as special effects in automated shows. Imagery includes stars, galaxies, planets, and other astronomy simulations.
